We arrived in Chicago and were scooped up at the bus stop by Marisa's college roomate Daniela Bono. We enjoyed out last meal in the USA at Club Lucky before Daniela whisked us out to O'hare in the fog.
Unlike our bus trip, our flight to Copenhagen departed on time (10pm) and arrived early (1pm). Jill and Kevin met us at the airport and a 15 min train ride and 2 block walk later we were at thier apt. After a much needed shower, we headed out for a walk around the Stroget (the longest pedestrian mall in the world). We stopped at Tivoli to see the holiday extravaganza.
Tivoli is a huge family amusement park that stays open though the holidays; rides included. It's like a cuter version of Disneyworld with holiday lights, hot chocolate, roasted nuts, beer, glogg and "folks dressed up like eskimos".
Till next time...

i TOLD you megabus was misery on wheels!
love the first photos, keep them coming!
I think Tivoli's one of the oldest amusement parks in the world. Never been. I'm jealous!
Jed here. Emily and I are hanging with the Jacksons in Austin for New Years and caught the Rose Bowl Victory for USC at their house. Meghan is supah-fat pregnant but managed to make her chili for us to devour. Hope you two have a great journey ahead. Flight benefits expire Sunday so can't meet you anywhere good this time around. Happy to meet you at Newark international airport if that's on your way home. :)
Now this is Meghan writing. Jed and Emily have invaded our home and have imposed their annoying, freeloading ways on us.
In all seriousness, having a great New Year's DAy in Austin. Nice weather, lots of beers n chili and good laughs.
Jed got an Iphone and officially entered the 21st century. He also got rid of his red suitcase! (and sold his Subaru).
Hope you two are having a blast. Keep us posted on the adventures.
Margaret Ellen says "hey" and "peace out".
